fyi, music scene here is broadening a bit… and art and food scenes are greatly increased. I’ve eaten at the last 2 restaurants featured in Diners Drive Ins and Dives, and both are excellent. Sad to say they aren’t downtown, but definitely an improvement anyway, lol

First of all, I’d like to be the first to congratulate you on winning the 2013 Worldcon bid. You’re the only one on the ballot, so unless there’s a massive write-in bid, you’re it.

I was at LoneStarCon 2 and I had a great time. I’ve got a pre-supporting membership for the next one and I can’t wait to come back. But I’d like to help out. I’d like the assist with setting up panels programming. I’ve done it before at Costume Con 5 some years ago. I know you’ve probably got someone local to head programming, so I’d like to assist this person.

I’m a Texas native, currently living in Rockport most of the year (Sheridan, Wyo., in the summers)with plans to b at the 2013 Worldcon in San Antonio. Yes, I am a supporter.
Author, under the name P.L. Blair, of (to date) 4 fantasy/detective novels set in Corpus Christi.
